As Queensland’s oldest continuously operating state school, Drayton State School is incredibly proud of our rich history and the generations of students, families and staff who have contributed to our story. Our highly experienced and dedicated staff provide quality teaching aligned with the Australian Curriculum. We maintain high expectations for all learners and work collaboratively to ensure students receive the support, challenge and opportunities they need to experience educational achievement and success.

Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) provides our whole-school, multi-tiered approach to supporting positive behaviour, engagement and wellbeing. Our expectations of being Safe, Respectful and Responsible are explicitly taught and reinforced across classrooms, playgrounds, sporting activities, excursions and all aspects of school life.
